Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: STEREO A
Event Time: 2025-07-17T12:44Z ( STEREO A: IMPACT )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: IMPACT
Activity ID: 2025-07-17T12:44:00-IPS-001 (version 2)
Quality of ICME Signature: 1 (lacks some signatures)
Note: Observed as a sharp jump from 10nT to 12nT at the event time, on top of an elevated background solar wind rising from around 6.7nT at 2025-07-17T11:25Z. A smooth rotation of magnetic field components is observed beginning around 2025-07-17T19:54Z. At this time, PLASTIC data is too sparse for futher information as this signature develops. The source for this arrival could be CME 2025-07-14T14:36Z, somewhat early from its modeled time of 2025-07-18T00:00Z (+-7 hours).
